Did the Iphone Simulator support the unicode Features?
« on: September 26, 2013, 02:26:18 am »
Hello everybody,
I am trying to write some arabic or chinese charachter as string in my code, but these doesn't appear well in the simulator. I saved my code as UNI-CODE UTF-8 in Visual c++2010.
Does the simulator support this?

Thank you

You must configure your project in VisualStudio to support UTF-8 too.

Project files must be converted with an external editor after that. If you created them before all still have ANSI codification.

I also do this ! I think it is a bug in the Simulator!?
I've build my App in the Build Center and downloaded to my iphone. i can see the Charachters in many languages as arabic russisch on my iphone ... It would be great if there is a way to show these Charachters in the simulator
Thank you for your replies:)
