Emailing
« on: May 19, 2012, 11:35:43 pm »
I know how to send an E-Mail through DFSDK and you can set the subject and such... but can you set what the E-Mail says? Another thing is that I want the E-Mail to contain stuff they typed in on some text edit fields? If possible can it automatically send it?

Thanks in advanced

You can control the body of the email with the "&body=" specifier for "mailto". For example, use something like the following with BrowserLaunch:

mailto:someemail@gmail.com?subject=SomeSubjectText&body=SomeBodyText

You can control that by providing the body text with the returned value from EditGetText if you would like to use what the user has typed into edit fields. You cannot, however, automatically send the email using this approach. The user will need to approve and send it. If you have your own server somewhere, you could use NetSend to send all of the email data there and have your server automatically send an email, but that is more complicated and usually not necessary. It's polite to allow your user approve what they are about to send, anyhow :)

And is there a way to email a file as an attachment?
