Build Center / Build problems.
« on: January 13, 2015, 08:44:01 pm »
:-\ Having trouble with the build center. I'm trying to build old apps which have built before with no problems but now when I submit them to the build center I get a build fail notification and when I download the app it is a different app which I had built and submitted to iTunes a long time ago. Anybody using the build center lately? Is it working for you? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Better then the free release this version has a food menu that lets you choose your food, junk food, veggies, or fruits. Also has easy and hard levels(more food types in the harder level) and supports GameCenter so you can try to beat "jersey fool" or "HD Classic Biker".
Check it out

Bumper Baseball is up and working in the app store. Better late then never. Uses Box2D for smooth life like bumper action. Thanks Tim for all your help. Here is the link.

Game Programming / Game Center Leaderboard question.
« on: March 22, 2013, 09:47:06 pm »
After your done testing your app in the leaderboard sandbox, do you need to do anything besides deleting test score data in "manage gamecenter" before your app goes live?

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with body editors and box2d? If so what editors have you used and what did you use to import the build into box2d and c++? Thanks for any info.

When you submit a new version of your app does it have to go through the review process with Apple again?

How Do I...? / Anyone willing to share their Game Center Code?
« on: March 11, 2013, 08:52:15 pm »
I'm adding Game Center to an app and was wondering if anyone would be willing to share their Game Center Code on the forum? I'm only interested in Leader Board Rank and score posting but I'm sure others would find the other stuff useful also. Thanks

Non-Game Programming / Preventing Memory Leaks
« on: February 17, 2013, 03:51:39 pm »
I have some questions about preventing memory leaks. Lets take for example the Box2D sample that comes with DragonfireSDK. Would you need to put anything into appexit() to clean up after this sample? Or is everything ok because the functions Createbounds() and Creatshapes() are called from appmain()? What about the variable pointers b2world *World, b2body *bodies[], b2body *bounds[]?
Thanks for any info / advise.

How Do I...? / How do I insert images into posts?
« on: January 29, 2013, 01:12:58 pm »
Here's a real newbie question.... How do I embed images into my posts here? I clicked the Insert Image icon then put in the url code which I got from ImageShack and I get no image in my post. Here is what I'm using "" inside the [img] code . Thanks for any help.

Hey Guys,

Just got my app written with DragonFireSDK into the itunes store. It's free so check it out and give me a review if you have time. I published the first version thru Zimusoft just to see if I get any interest in it. The next version will be a 99 cent version with the more options (choice of foods, levels, GameCenter Support ect.). I'm just curious if anyone doesn't mind sharing, what kind of download numbers are you guys getting? Other developers here might also be interested. Here is the link

How Do I...? / AlbumSave Problems
« on: January 16, 2013, 08:09:40 pm »
I need some help using the AlbumSave function in a game. I made a button to load a background screen into the game which will be a target screen. The button calls AlbumSave which works the first time I use it. It brings in a file from my photo folder renames it to MyPicture.png and stores it into the document folder. AlbumSave then calls a function that runs ImageSetImage to replace the original background picture with MyPicture.png. The problems start when I try to click the button again to change to a different background. The App crashes. I thought it might be because the file MyPicture.png aleady exists and AlbumSave can't write over it. So I made it so when you click the button again it changes the background back to the default background and then calls FileDelete to delete MyPicture.png so AlbumSave can make a new MyPicture.png. Now when I click the button the second time it changes the background to the default background (I can see that happening) and I assume it deletes MyPicture.png but still crashes when AlbumSave is run again. Will FileDelete(MyPicture.png) work do I have to assign the file to a (char) and use FileDelete((char *)FILE_NAME)? The rest of the game builds and runs fine it even works the first time I use AlbumSave letting me use the first MyPicture.png. It only crashes the second time I try to execute the AlbumSave. Thanks for any ideas you might have.
